Recently, the seemingly separate worlds are drawing closer and closer as brewers start dabbling in distilling and vice versa. Dave Thibodeau, co-founder of Ska Brewing, is one such individual. After opening Ska in 1995, he helped opened Peach Street Distilling.
These facilities have worked together – the used barrels are filled with beer and beer is distilled into spirit – while Thibodeau learns more about both sides of his operations.
