"I got a bad girl
I got a brain-with-an-ass girl
She got a mean bop
I got a lean to the way I walk
And they get it like gold"

You might know what those words sounds like. They are the lyrics of Run The Jewels' track "Stay G-O-L-D," off the recent Run The Jewels 3 album.

But what do they taste like?

That was the question brewer and founder of Interboro Spirits and Ales Jesse Ferguson faced when he had the opportunity to make a collaboration beer – named Stay Gold – with the hip-hop duo.

The result was an easy-drinking Northeast-style IPA with the funk of a freshly packed bowl of cannabis and clean finish. Ferguson joins us today to talk about the process off adding hip-hop with his hops and how his life in the music industry led him to the world of craft beer.
