Pitchfork and October Present: Run the Jewels

February 07, 2017

By Eno Sarris, February 07, 2017

Pitchfork is helping October kick off the site with a big show in Charlotte, NC on March 14. Run the Jewels will take their high-energy hip hop to The Fillmore in that city on that date, and they're bringing with them beer they've specially brewed for this tour.

That beer – named Stay Gold after one of their seminal new tracks – was brewed with Interboro's founder and head brewer (and former Def Jux manager) Jesse Ferguson. Early reports confirm that the beer is a hazy and juicy North East style IPA featuring crowd-pleasing citra and mosaic hops and an easy-to-drink 6% alcohol by volume.

Tickets are now available on ticketmaster, and they're sure to sell out quickly. You'll hear more about this show, this beer, this event (and future events) in this space, as October and Pitchfork are proud to present their events series that will bring together the best in beer, music, and food over the course of the year.
