Before we can finally bid a not-so-very fond farewell to this year, we’ve got a few more holiday parties to get through. If you’re planning to celebrate, you might as well do it right—preferably armed with plenty of beer. Here’s our cheat sheet on how to eat, drink and even be merry during this final stretch of the season.

5 Beer-Infused Holiday Cookie Recipes
Beer. Cookies. If any two words inspire greater happiness than those two, we’d love to hear them. And while they certainly don’t need to be combined to bring joy to the world, ‘tis the season to indulge in a little more of the good stuff. Baking wizard Ben Mims suggests jazzing up Santa’s cookie plate this year with chocolate-cherry biscotti spiked with imperial stout or ginger spice cookies with a whiff of sour ale. If you want to dunk them in your pint in lieu of a glass of milk, we’re certainly not going to stop you.

Luckily, Bon Appétit’s Alex Delany and Erika Kubick, the brains behind the blog Cheese Sex Death, are here to steer you on the right course.

Fear not, Kelcey Ayer has you covered. Most of us will be downing a beer or three during this holiday party season and, as with anything, there’s a right way and a wrong way to do it. We’re here to help you escape with dignity (relatively) unscathed.

This isn’t a comprehensive list, but it is rather delicious one to drink your way through. Bring a six-pack of these to any holiday party and we guarantee you’ll be welcome.

The Year In Beer: Best of the Best Beers of 2018
Was that not enough beer recommendations for you? Seriously? In that case, how about a couple dozen extras? Our best-in-show-beers of the year run the gamut from double-hopped hazy-AF New England IPAs to barrel-aged stouts to crisp, refreshing lagers. Cheers.
